James Johnson-Perkinsat Waygood Art Boutique @ Northern Stage
Saturday 20 June - Saturday 1 AugustThese Mega blok paintings draw heavily on the modernist precedents and principles of Structuralism and Minimalism. James Johnson-Perkins is known for his artworks inspired by ’80s nostalgia, often using Lego, ’80s TV programmes and computer games as his inspiration.Especially for the reception the artist will build a den-like structure in the space, which will be both child and adult friendly. - Late Shift Video
A Performance by Sally Madge and Carole LubyMay 17 2009 A cross between a cookery demonstration, a factory production line and an art making process this performance was part of the Late Shows. The playful interaction includes elements of domestic labour, art production and ritual, underpinned by the sense of a conveyor belt driving the machinery forward to its absurd end. - Hidden Online Poetry ProjectWaygood is taking part in Hidden, an online poetry project run by arcadea, reflecting the hidden history and cultural identities of Disabled people.
